Chill Out In A Relaxing Bath
It’s Wednesday evening but it still feels like a Monday. You’ve spend all day getting screamed at by your boss and it’s been downhill from there from the puddle you stepped in on the way home to the empty fridge you saw when you did get home. What you need is a long relaxing soak in a lovely warm bath. It’s essential you try and make time for yourself so you can unwind especially if you’ve had such a bad day.
Make sure your bathroom is set up and ready. Just have a quick tidy around. White and blue bathroom suites are more calming and relaxing which is why these are the most popular colours. As silly as it may sound there is an art behind running the perfect bath. After all you’ve got gels and liquids as well as salts and powders. The first thing to do is make sure you’ve got a clean bath. There’s no point in running relaxing baths if it’s over week’s worth of dirt and grime. Pour any gels and liquids in with the warm water. Try and pour it from the top of the taps so it runs in like a water fall. This way all the scents are relased into the bathroom as the gels and liquids rush into the water giving off a pleseant aroma throughout the whole bathroom.
When it comes to powders and salts these need to dissolve fully otherwise it will be uncomfortable. They’ll fizz more effectivly when they’re in warmer water. If you want to enjoy your bath you don’t need chunks from the salts everywhere. Don’t forget a few scented candles and some peaceful music. Lavender is great for relaxation and will make you sleep much easier too. Try and pick up some music that designed specifically to be relaxing like pan pipes or mood music.
