Also known by its generic name sertraline, Zoloft is a prescription drug manufactured by Pfizer and is a member of a group of antidepressants called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class. Drugs in this group are usually prescribed for treating high levels of depression within adults, as well as panic and social anxiety disorders in both children and adults. Zoloft is categorized as Pregnancy Category Class C by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The results showed were inconclusive as 25% of the Zoloft users reported headaches during the trail while 23% of the placebo users reported headaches as well.
