You Ask Yourself, Can You Cure A Phobia?
Everyone tends to wonder if it’s possible, within time, to cure a phobia. Even the mere mention of it tends to send us off the deep end, not wanting to face the darkness it leaves behind. It frightens us, even restricts our daily activities. Can you cure a phobia? You reach out and start to search for the answers.
No one could say that they aren’t afraid of at least one thing in their lives, we may not like to admit it, but it’s there. Waiting for us to slip up and accept it again. We don’t have to succumb to it any longer. We’re stronger than it gives us credit.
We sometimes refuse to face them, allowing it to upset us and those around us, even damaging our mental health by letting it continue to live inside of us. When all along, all we had to do was accept the problem and play the same game it tries to make us participate in. Once we realize that we’re the winners and they lost before they began, we can conquer anything that it throws our way.
Steps to a positive renewal of one’s self is to begin by creating a simple list in the form of steps. As an example as to how they should look, check below.
1: When did I first notice I had a phobia?
2: What could’ve triggered it and why?
3: Does it alter your everyday activities or other’s?
4: Why you’d want to cure the phobia.
5: Can my phobia be causing bodily harm to anyone including myself?
Lastly, you should answer these questions to the best of your knowledge and plan out ways to take each step one at a time to better yourself. The source of the problem can help you a great deal if you’re able to answer it.
Don’t ever let fear control you. Most of us don’t realize how easily fear can back us up into a corner and stop us from doing the things we enjoy in life. The absents of fear can bring forth true enlightenment of one’s consciousness. Don’t we all want to feel better about ourselves and not let anything get in our ways?
Each time you have to face your fears, don’t hesitate. It’s only a temporary set back, take a deep breath and accept anything that comes your way, remind yourself that nothing can stop you! Not even your phobia’s!
Be strong. I’ve been cured of many phobia’s, and so can you. With a little time, effort, and acceptance. You will finally be free of all that binds you.
